The magic sauce of our innovation lies in our IPEC device where we deploy multiple physical phenomena in one single device allowing thermal and mass-transport optimizations for the overall process of sunlight to fuel conversion. This leads to a multifold increase in the solar to fuel conversion efficiency while allowing the device to operate at high throughput/power densities. Our second innovation lies in the system controller which deploys its novel flow-based controlling strategies to operate the system at optimized points which in turn increases the lifetime (or reduces the sunlight intermittency-based degradations) of the system.
