Our story
Reconciling sustainability and economy, green hydrogen has never been so competitive.
At SoHHytec, we are at the forefront of innovation in sustainable systems, dedicated to revolutionizing on-site renewable fuel and power generation. Our cutting-edge technology, protected by patents, harnesses the power of the sun to generate renewable fuel (hydrogen + oxygen) and Power (electricity + heat). This groundbreaking approach is made possible by our proprietary photoelectrochemical device, specially designed to operate with concentrated solar irradiation.
The technology is based on our novel photoelectrochemical device working with concentrated solar irradiation. We use solar energy to split water and produce hydrogen, oxygen, electricity, and heat at the same time and on the same site. Not only does our technology outperform competitors, but it also offers a more cost-effective solution for a wide range of industries, including industrial sectors like fertilizer, and chemicals, as well as commercial, space, and micro-grid applications.
Headquartered in the picturesque city of Lausanne, Switzerland, we trace our origins to the prestige of Ecole Polytechnique federale de Lausanne (EPFL). Our product is the culmination of over 10 years of intensive research and development carried out at the Laboratory of Renewable Energy Science and Engineering at EPFL. Our success is driven by a passionate and highly skilled team of founders and professionals, committed to advancing the future of sustainable energy.
Join us on our journey towards a greener, more efficient energy landscape.
